Why companies need our help

There are two major roadblocks companies face when recruiting student-athletes. First, college athletic departments are extremely protected environments. They demand their athletes to be totally focused on their academics and athletics without distractions from the outside. Companies eager to recruit athletes are a distraction and unwelcome in the halls of the department.

Second, student-athletes maintain a rigorous daily schedule. Early morning stretching and weight training, classes throughout the day, afternoon practice and competetition and evening study halls and film study comprise a full day. That leaves student-athletes no time to participate in traditional on campus recruitng activities like career fairs and campus interviews. Simply put, when your on campus recruiting, athletes aren’t and so everybody loses.

How we help companies recruit better talent

Athletes to Business works directly inside the Athletic Departments of America’s finest universities. Many of those we touch are eager to join the business world. We then connect those interested and qualified for your open positions directly to your hiring managers.

Athletes to Business act as an “extension” of your recruiting team. In a sense, we become your full time “eyes” and “ears” in the Athletic Department. What We Can Do For Your Company

In today’s business climate, most companies are stretched extremely thin when it comes to recruiting resources. That makes it a major challenge to devote the time and personnel necessary to effectively recruit these prize candidates. Smart companies are seeking new and better ways to source the best talent as traditional methods like job fairs , campus interviews and information sessions produce minimal results. Even companies with highly developed College Recruiting Programs have virtually no success connecting with student-athletes.

Athletes to Business solves the problem. Because of the tremendous value we bring to the Athletic Department we have been granted the privlege of meeting their student-athletes. Through our hands on coaching and mentoring we determine which student-athletes are interested and qualified to meet your hiring staff.

Our Athletes to Business Career Coach is the key ingredient to insure your recruiting success. Our “hand picked” coaches, all former student-athletes, meet every student-athlete one-on-one to determine if they fit your hiring profile. Those that do are required to research your company and learn about your organization and opportunity. This allows us to forward only those qualified and interested to your hiring team, saving you hours of sourcing and qualifying time. It’s just as if you had your own full-time recruiter inside the Athletic Department!
