How We Can Help

We work along side your athletic department helping to prepare and connect your student athletes with some of America’s finest companies - companies that are eager and motivated to hire these talented and diverse individuals. Our goal is for all those we touch, student athlete or other, to leave your school with a job in hand.

What We Do

Athletes to Business works hand in hand with your department’s existing career development programs. Each school is assigned a qualified a2b Career Coach who has the responsibility of helping prepare your student-athletes for “life after sports”. Our coaches meet one-one-one with each player to discuss career planning and assessment, resume development, interview preparation, and actual interview scheduling with companies interested in the background and career goals of an individual.

a2b Career Coach

Your Athletes to Business Career Coach is the key link between your student-athlete and a great career opportunity. Each hand picked coach is a former student-athlete, who has experienced the same set of emotions and sense of loss most student-athletes feel when they peel of their uniform for the last time. Each coach works on campus, directly inside your Athletic Department, with a minimum requirement of one visit each month.

Resources Available To You

Athletes to Business provides you with a variety of valuable resources designed to help your department and student athletes. Our Career Gameplan (link) offers student the opportunity to work one-on one with our Career Coach to develop and execute a start to finish career gameplan. Or, participate in one of our Connect Direct Hiring Conferences (link) where world class companies visit your campus to interview your talented and qualified student-athletes on their “home court” inside your school’s Athletic Department. Add to that our new Career Connection Program (link) which provides your department with an important monthly career development newsletter to share with all your student-athletes and coaches. It’s a great way to develop and maintain a career consciousness all year long.
